SubscriberAnsys fleunt was not working in my laptop, so I redownloaded and reinstalled it. It worked the first time but is showing the same error now. It just keeps loading for a very long time, shows "Cannot find the file specified" in the last line of the console and eventually shows the error message: The FLUENT application failed to validate the connection. Please help, I have an important academic project to work on.

Ansys EmployeeCan you please provide a screenshot of the "Parallel Settings" tab of the Fluent launcher? This error commonly occurs when there are problems with mpi processes trying to launch. Are you connected to multiple networks, such as one wired and one wireless? If so, please try with only a single connection. Are you on a VPN connection? If so, VPN is known to be problematic due to the way it changes the system ip configuration.

SubscriberHey! Thank you for replying! So I have inserted an image of the parallel settings. I checked and I don't have multiple connections and I have two VPN Softwares but I am not running them.

Ansys EmployeeTry stand-alone Fluent first, then in Fluent Launcher, click more options -> parallel -> select MPI type to be MS-MPI and check the box to specify IP address to be 127.0.0.1
