SubscriberHello,
I am trying to mesh an external flow problem with a rocket. I created and cleaned the geometry largely in Fusion and exported it as STEP to spaceclaim, where I created the enclosure, bodies of influence and named selections. I've tried to remove problematic geometry, such as the sharp trailing edge on the rocket fin and sharp nose by planing it down.
I am getting the following error when I try to create surface mesh, and I noticed the following output in the console:
Error: CAR: invalid argument [1]: wrong type [not a pair]
Error Object: ()

Ansys EmployeeThis looks sizing issue. Can you please use some coarse sizes first and try to mesh it.
You may want to try only curvature sizing function at first. Once it is successful then add other sizing functions such as boi etc. Once you get coarse mesh, then you can refine it further.
As surface mesh is not created, you will not get regions. Once surface mesh is successful, you will get regions.
Please go through help manual for more details
