fluent’s requirements for 2D models

      so i'd like to make a 2D simulation in fluent, and i'd like to know the requirements for 2D models in fluent

      You must construct a surface in the XY plane for 2D fluid flow.


      If you want to do an Axisymmetric model such as a straight pipe, then you must have the axis of revolution along the X axis and make a surface on the +Y side for a radial slice that if revolved around the X axis would recreate the 3D fluid domain.

      i made sure to do just that but i still get an error when launching fluent
