Fluidized bed grid independency

  Hi everyone, I am trying to set the mesh size of a 2D fluidized bed and I wanted to do a grid independency study. I am starting to simulate with air and I wanted to extract the profile of velocity to compare it with the inlet velocity, but i am not sure this is the correct approach.
  Could anyone help me with any suggestion or experience in the field?

  The independency study is more than just one velocity profile. You will need to compare pressure drop, flow, bed height etc.
