SubscriberHello,
I have a cylinder built in Spaceclaim, on the top surface I would like the mesh to have a vertices at a specific point.
I've tried to do that by having a point set in SpaceClaim as follows:
But the mesh generator in Mechanical seems to ignore those two points. I have tried using the Repair->Stitch but it doesn't seem to register.
Any idea on how to proceed ?
Thanks
Anthony

Ansys EmployeeI assume there's a good reason for this in Mech: not something I'd bother with in CFD.
Split a separate volume or face out with a corner at the point of interest. The mesher should respect the hard edge, and as there will be a corner at that position you will get a node.
