Forte Tutorial 5 – Mesh Preview stuck on Part ID: 11 Type: 8

  Hello there,
  Should the Mesh Preview take over 4h to be created for Tutorial 5?
  I have obtained the Tutorial 5 files from Forte>Help>Tutorials.
  Are the files up to date and do they still work with latest Forte version? I'm using Forte 2021.

  Hello there To add to the question above, I have now definitely followed the Forte's tutorial 5 and again I am waiting 4h+ for Mesh to be Generated.
  Additionally, EnSight has too been frozen for 4+h.
  Is the tutorial up to date?

  Update!
  I've now been running this simulation for over 8h and the results are the same.
  Mesh generation is stuck on ...Part ID: 11 Type: 8 and EnSight is not running because "no data currently loaded".
  Please Help!

  Can you please check your CPU utilization to make sure there are no other processes taking up memory? Also, I would suggest you to upgrade to 2022R1, the latest version to see if this solves the issue.

  Hey RK Let me ask my university about the 2022R1 package. I will get back to you on this one.
  Regarding CPU, firstly I'm not sure how. In the picture below did I do it correctly?
  When I am using Ansys I only have the tutorial PDF open and and Forte.

  To my knowledge, 8GB RAM is low. Please check the min hardware requirements : Platform Support Data: Previous Releases | Ansys

  I understand 8GB might be low. But with other errors I am having I think maybe its not the hardware. Maybe its the software. Maybe its the tutorial file/s. What do you think? Is there anyone at Ansys that can go through Fortes tutorial 5 or other tutorials and check that everything is working correctly. Id like to use tutorial 5 results for my project, but because I can not obtain them I have tried other tutorials and some worked but others showed different errors. Maybe the issues lie there somewhere? What do you think?
