SubscriberHello
I have a problem with a large assembly, where I would like to do a Free-Free Modal analysis.
2020 R1
I only want to analyse a sub-assembly from the whole assembly. Therefore, I just defined the desired bodies as Simulation Bodies. I get wrong results (3.63e-2 Hz / rigid body modes).
However, if I delete the unneeded bodies, I get correct results (15.6 Hz).
In Discovery 2019 R3 I get the correct results in both cases.
Can you please have a look into this behavior? If needed I can provide the geometry files (not publicly)
Thanks Best regards
Stefan

I'm unable to reproduce this on an arbitrary assembly. Could you please share your model with us?.
I have shared an Ansys Secure Transfer link to you via email. Please use the link to securely transfer the files to us.

Ansys EmployeeHello skuenzli
Thanks for sending the files. It appears to be an issue with this model in 2020R1. However, I tested in the upcoming 2020R2 and couldn't reproduce the issue. So it looks like the issue has been fixed in the upcoming version.
