Free trial license problem

      Hi there,

      I installed the free trial of ANSYS Discovery Live on a colleagues account (as he had administrative privileges) but I can't seem to access the software on my account. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

      When you say "installed", do you mean you assigned the trial to their email address, or that you just installed the software on their PC using their WIndows user profile?

      The error message you're seeing seems to indicate that maybe the license has not been assigned to your user account.

      Please have a look at this video for further instructions:

      If you assigned the license to a user account other than your own, then you'll need to use that email when prompted to log in the first time you launch the software.
