SubscriberHello there,
I am trying to simulate a suspended flexible cable in a flow problem. To that end, I am just trying to look at a few examples to learn the simulation setups for the problem at hand. Henceforth, I took up the well documented example of a plate in a flow using ASNSY Transient Structural and Fluent modules. When I try to connect the Solution cell in Transient Structural module to the Results cell in Fluent, it shows an inhibitor sign and that particular cannot be done. All other operations of setup connections from the Transient Structural and Fluent to the System Coupling are easily accomplished. No issues there!
I am totally stumped. What is the solution and is there a workaround? I wish to see the coupling results. Without this particular connection though, my machine has solved the problem without any errors. How can I visualize the simulation results? Please help. I will appreciate it.
PS: I do not have EnSight application. Do I need it? The ANSYS versions should be integrated with it OR I will have to ask the administrators to upload it. I need some guidance there as well...Thanks a ton!
Best regards.
Syed
