SubscriberHello,
I am using ANSYS WorkBenck and I am interested in FSI analysis of a "flexible" oscillating airfoil in water. I am able to simulate the oscillating "rigid" airfoil using dynamic meshing through rigid body motion (CG_Motion UDF). However, I am not sure of the approach if the airfoil is no longer rigid. In this case, I am assuming the mesh must go through rigid body motion but it needs to be re-meshed as airfoil shape changes. Fluent dynamic mesh only allows me to assign the mesh zone only one, either rigid body or deforming. Any ideas? Many thanks.

SubscriberHi,
Thanks for the tutorial video. It is very helpful. However, I wanted to accomplish the airfoil oscillation inside fluent, similar to the attached ANSYS documents. Only this time, I want the airfoil to be of a flexible (deforming) material. Hope that make sense.
