SubscriberCan a structure be divided into two parts, one part is for geometrically nonlinear analysis and another is for linear analysis at one load case in Ansys?

SubscriberA structure can have some parts that have a linear elastic material, while other parts have a non-linear material such as a plastic or hyperelastic material model. Some parts can be set to have Rigid Body behavior so they are no longer Flexible.
If the model has frictional contact, that is a nonlinear condition that requires iteration to solve, even if all the materials are linear.

SubscriberThanks for your reply.
Do you mean that it is impossible?

SubscriberA geometrically nonlinear problem means the small angle assumption is voilated. Nodal locations will be updated during the solution and large rotations can occur. That must apply to all the nodes in the analysis and requires iterations to solve. I think what you ask is impossible within a single analysis.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation. Click here to join this event to learn how to leverage Ansys Fluids on the cloud, thanks to Ansys Gateway powered by AWS.
