Geometry

  Hi everyone,nI need to modify the geometry for several simulations in Ansys Workbench but each time when I modify the geometry even a bit, I have to define all the materials, connections, mesh and etc. from the beginning, which is so time taking as there are numerous things I need to define. nIs there a way to prevent this issue?.Thanks,nAmi

  Did you modify geometry in DM or SpaceClaim? The loss of scoping should only happen to the modified regions. For example if you split a face, it should only need re-scope that face and possibly for the solid attached to it. nOne way to workaround is to have named selections defined by some criterion, for example based on x/y/z locations etc. Then you can use the named selection to define your scoping.nn

  Hi HuiLiu,nnThanks for your help. I modified in SpaceClaim and I do define name selection but all is re-scoped !!! n
