Geometry disappears when cursor is moved over it

I am trying to perform a static-structural study. I import my geometry into ansys (STEP file). When i open up the model, the geometry is visible but when I move my cursor over the geometry, the geometry disappears. I can perform all zoom in/out as well as rotate actions, but the geometry disappears when the cursor is over the geometry. If I click somewhere on the side, the geometry reappears. This is causing major problems as the geometry disappears whenever I try to perform an action that involves selecting any face or point on the geometry.

Highlighted geometry disappears or moving the cursor over something and not clicking causes it to disappear?

Moving the cursor over the geometry and not clicking causes it to disappear. Basically, my geometry is visible if my cursor is anywhere else on the screen. But as soon as my cursor passes over the geometry, the geometry disappears.

Sounds like the graphics card, is it fairly modern and are the drivers up to date?
