SubscriberHi, I just installed Discovery 2021 R1.6 30days trial version on my Dell Precision 7530 with NVIDIA Quadro P2000 4GB.
Once I clicked through the welcome pages and into the introduction tutorial, it looks like some part should be visible - however it is not. See the picture:
I tried to restart, reinstall and change the video driver, however unsuccessful. Do you know what is the issue here?
Best Regards,
Halvor

Ansys EmployeeHello Halvor Aga
Can you close the introduction tutorial and try opening one of the inbuilt sample models and see if they load successfully?
Can you try updating the graphics card drivers directly from the Nvidia website and then try opening the model again?

SubscriberHi Naresh ,
Thanks for your advice,
Actually I fixed it - something of a "did you try to turn it of and on again moment" - I connected an external screen to my laptop and it all worked fine.
I did do some parallel changes though (turned off the "Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling" and restarted) however I tried that before and on the laptop screen it didn't help.
Let me know if you want me to try to get a better description of this if it has anything to do with the known error with Dell Precision 7550.
So now I'm all set and looking forward to try the software.
Have a good day.
Best Regards,
Halvor
