Gold nanoparticle adsorbed onto Microring resonator

      Hello, I am trying to simulate the wavelength shift that results from the adsorption of gold nanoparticles onto the ring waveguide.

      This is my simulation region.

      And this paper I am trying to replicate suggests a left shift of the resonant wavelength, but I keep getting a right shift. 

      Can someone please help me locate what I am doing wrong?

      This is what I get:

      Parameters: ring: inner radius = 2.95um, outer radius = 3.5um, height = 250nm

      bus waveguide: width = 500nm, height = 250nm

      Gold nanoparticle: shape spherical, diameter = 80nm

      Please help me out, I tried a lot.

      From your results, it is obvious that the simulation time is too short: please use 100 times more than the current time. you may also need to use finer mesh at the coupling regions and the nano particle with override meshes.
