SubscriberHi,
To take into accout the mass of a part, should gravity be added ? How can i do that ?
Thanks,

Gravity can be applied from the Setup menu for Fluid and Structural simulations in Discovery Live

Ansys EmployeeGUICAD In the structural analysis in AIM add in an inertial load under structural conditions. Please note that this load vector should be in the opposite direction of gravity to properly represent the loading from gravity.

SubscriberHi,
How can we add gravity in fluid simulations in AIM?
I set up the model in LIVE with gravity for some initial runs and then exported the model to AIM for a detailed analysis. Are these settings about gravity automatically carried over from LIVE to AIM?
Thanks

Gravity conditions are carried to AIM directly during structural simulation but not for Fluid flow. For fluid, you will have to toggle Buoyancy on and then specify the gravity value again in AIM as specified by Subashni in the thread here
