Subscriber老师您好,最近我在学习叉指型PN结MRM的搭建,目前想利用INTERCONNECT搭建出紧凑模型方便后续dynamic operating的实验。

叉指型PN结有着如下结构:
可以看到这种PN结结构在环波导切线方向上是有周期性变化的,这样的话我们怎么计算这种波导的有效折射率呢,因为之后计算MRM的transmission distribution的话需要有效折射率。按照我以往的经验是用MODE中的eigensolver来计算波导截面的模式,获得对应的有效折射率;
但是对于这种叉指型PN结这种类型的波导,使用MODE来计算是不是行不通的呢,请老师解惑,谢谢!

Ansys Employee既然要计算有效折射率,你应该是知道模式在哪里,大概什么分布,因此在FDE里做适当设置应该可以得到。
如果有多个周期,可以使用周期边界条件;
如果考虑掺杂,那么也必须是周期的,不能仅看几何形状的周期;要考虑掺杂,需要先用CHARGE 仿真载流子分布,然后输入到FDE中,比如:
