SubscriberHi,
I'm meshing a pipe with CFD - Fluent preferences using O-grid technique. I have decomposed the pipe in several sub-geometries to have a structured mesh. I used the sweep method with manual source and target faces.
Every edge of the source faces has a mesh control, while the length of the pipe has an independent size control. The mesh on the source face appears like this:

SubscriberEdit: by using sweep method on the "no problem" bodies and the multizone on the others, I obtain the mesh that I'm looking for. Still, I don't understand why a fully sweepable method is not supported in this case, even if Ansys meshing marks the whole model as "sweepable".

Ansys EmployeeWhich version?
Latest 2022R1 should have fix for this.
You are on correct path. Multizone would definitely help here.

SubscriberHi Keyur and thank you for your reply.
I'm using Workbench 2020 R2. Multizone was crucial because solved the problem also on other geometries of the same analysis, which were affected by that problem.
I found some difficulties with the "mesh copy" command too: mesh application simpky crashed. I solved the issue by adding size control over every edges of the geometry instead of using a mesh copy.
I mark this post as answered.
Regards Enrico
