Rupak, the temperature doesn't come from the explicit analysis but rather from the material model (plasticity or EOS).
So, the specific heat is required and used to calculate temperature used in material models that include thermal softening (adiabatic heating). Check out the Docs on Johnson-Cook, Steinberg Guinan, Zerilli-Armstrong Strength materials.
