Hello, nI am currently simulating a 2D axisymmetric geometry. When applying the heat flux boundary condition on a wall that has a thickness, is the heat flux value being applied on the inner side of the wall or on the outer side of the wall, which would have a greater radius? nThanks for the help. nSincerely, nDannyn

The flux is applied to the surface area of the surface it's assigned to. If you're using thin wall but giving it a thickness the area is as per the geometry:the thickness is purely for conduction and has no geometric presence. n
