SubscriberHELLO,
WELL AS IM NEW TO THIS TOPIC IM TRYING TO WORK ON A PROJECT IN WHICH AN INSULATED CONTAINER WILL KEEP 250ML OF HEATED WATER WARM FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE (45 MINS),WHILE KEEPING THE TRACK OF TEMPERATURE FOR EVERY 5 MINS AND INSIDE CONTAINER THERE IS NO ENEGRY SOURCE TO KEEP THE WATER WARM ,HOWEVER AS IM NEW TO THIS TOPIC OF HEAT TRASNFER ANALYSIS A LITTLE HELP WILL MUCH APPRECIATED AND IM UPLOADING SOME IMAGES OF THIS PROJECT OF WHAT MY PROJECT IS WHICH IM WORKING ON.

Ansys EmployeeYou can use CFD (Fluent) if you want to include the convection effects in the water, or Mechanical if you're not interested in capturing all of the detail. I'd start by doing some of the tutorials (click on Help) to understand how the geometry (SpaceClaim), meshing (Fluent Meshing) and solver (Fluent) work. The courses linked from the top of the page will also assist as they cover various aspects of the physics.
