Heat Transfer Rate

      Hello,

I want to measure the heat transfer rate of a body "cell zone" in fluent, unfortunatelly it's not possible anymore since the release 2022 R2 and shows me "invalid location", like you can see in the picture bellow.

Maybe you can help me with this problem.

      Regards

      Raphael

Use the surfaces that bound that body.

Unfortunately this also doesn't work, do you think I have done something wrong in the meshing process.

The results in the contourplot look like there is no problem with the heat transfer between the bodys

What do the Flux Reports give?

I can't even to them, it always gives me the reply invalid location

      From the Flux Reports?

As you can see the wall at the cell zone with the energy source shows 0 W

That's a non-conformal interface, not a wall. That's most likely why it's not a valid surface for expressions as the walls generated are purely to block flow, not to be displayed etc.

So, why did you not create a conformal mesh?
