SubscriberHello, I am trying to generate a magnetic field transient due to a Helmholtz coil, which should change its current so the magnetic field will change. I would like to change the value of the current in time, how can I?

SubscriberI found on internet this answere:
1. use the coupled field analysis. finite elements like plane53, solid97 can be coupled with the circuit element circu124. you can define the AC voltage source in the circuit. see Low-Frequency Electromagnetic Analysis Guide and Coupled-Field Analysis Guide for details.
2. define an array and use the array as your excitation. the first row of the array is the time, the second row is the corresponding current of the specific time. see "8.4. Example: Transient Magnetic Field in a Conducting Block" in Low-Frequency Electromagnetic Analysis Guide for details.
The problem is that this guide is really old and does not correspond to the actual ansys version, so can someone help me to apply there solutions to my problem and the newest veriosns? Thanks in advance.
