SubscriberHi all, nwhen I try to use the analysis system fluid flow (fluent), during the mesh update, I have this error:nUpdate failed for the Mesh component in Fluid Flow (Fluent). Error updating cell Mesh in system Fluid Flow (Fluent).n(DP 0) Unable to initialize addins in Meshing. Either the application crashed or Workbench lost communication with it (Impossibile stabilire la connessione. Rifiuto persistente del computer di destinazione 127.0.0.1:50939).nIt doesen't matter if I create geometry with design modeler or spaceclaim or I import it.nAny suggestions on a solution to my problem?n -

Ansys EmployeeArrayYou are missing the first section of the command line output. Can you share the output that showed above the CommonProgramFiles (x86) entry? Also, the graphics card you have is not a supported device. You can try updating your Nvidia driver (please go to Nvidia website, do not use Windows Device Manager) Then, make sure that your machine uses the Nvidia card as default. Right click on the desktop then launch Nvidia Control Panel >> Manage 3D settings >> set Preferred graphics processor to be High-performance NVIDIA processor.n -

SubscriberThis is the first part. I use ansys with a second user account (with administrator rights) because my first one has ò this letter in the name so I can't even open the program with this account. Can my problem with the meshing be connected to this fact?nThank you so much again.n

Ansys EmployeeAre you able to open Meshing, or does this error result in you being unable to even open the Meshing cell? Perhaps this post will have some relevance?nhttps://forum.ansys.com/discussion/15378/error-unable-to-initialize-addins-in-meshingn -

Forum ModeratorIn Meshing can you go to File-Export and write out a .msh file? Pay attention to any messages that appear in Meshing as they tend to be more diagnostic than those in Workbench. n
