HELP: Failed Simulation Results in Discovery 2020 R2

      Hello,

      My name is Leo I am a Instructional Assistant at the University of Michigan, and I am tasked with developing curriculum for freshmen engineers. 

      I am having an issue in Discover 2020 R2 where I cannot see the results of any of my simulations. It always shows a result of a solid blue magnitude of 0 figure for any stress, strain, displacement. 

      To make sure that this was not one of my issues with the geometry of my figure, I did a guided tutorial on the structural bracket. This led me to the same conclusion, no stresses shown in the analyzed simulation.

      If you could help me with this problem, that would help a lot.

      Can you try updating the graphics card drivers directly from the Nvidia website? Also, can you let me know what graphics card do you have?

        Naresh Patre I am currently accessing Discovery through a remote access from my laptop to a powerful computer on my college campus. I will give the specification of both computers below:

        Laptop: HP Spectre 13 in

            Graphics Driver: Intel(R) UHD Graphics 620

            Computer: ACPI x64-based PC

            Processor: i7 8th gen 1.80 GHz

        Remote Accessed Desktop:

            Graphics Driver: NVIDIA GRID T4-4Q

                                            VMware Horizon Indirect Display Driver

                                            VMware SVGA 3D

            Computer: ACPI x64-based PC

            Processor: Intel (r) Xeon (r) Gold 6240 2.60 GHz

         

        I do not have access to alter the device manager settings on the remote accessed desktop.

        Hello lavigleo ,

        Are your graphics drivers on the remotely accessed desktop updated? If not I would recommend updating your graphics drivers directly from the NVIDIA's website

        Can you also check if the remotely accessed desktop satisfies the minimum requirements to run Discovery LIVE?
