For a given composite material I have calculated the substitute parameters in the three spatial directions using Material Designer (see picture).
To be able to check the results for correctness I wanted to do two modal analyses.
The first one contains the composite material and the second one the substitute material of the Material Designer.
According to my understanding, the modes must be found at the same frequencies. But as you can see from the pictures they are very different.
I hope someone can help me.

You can fix one end of the plate to at least eliminate the zero frequencies. The material properties are not matching up and henc e you are seeing a difference in frequency. Please see if the following video is of any use to you:
