Hi Guys, Can someone suggest the procedure to find the Thermal Resistance of Hestsink(Sink-Ambient).

      I wanted to know how do this above problem statement with Ansys ICEPAK.

      Hi You can use the formula : R (Heatsink) = (T (max) - T (ambient))/ Q (Heat flow into the heatsink base) . The max temperature is usually on the heatsink base and you can use summary report feature to get it. T ambient is already specified as an input , but another option is to use the fluid inlet temperature to the heat sink. Q is the heat flow through the heatsink base. If you are using a heatsink native object created within Icepak, then Icepak can directly report the thermal resistance for this object in the summary report using the same formula as described above.
