hi i installed ansys student 18.2 but install.err file created.

install in c(c drive but  i can't find any icon in my wallpaper and window tap.

licensing was completed.  and my window is 10. 

i upload the install.err file please help me

Can you attach the screenshot of the content of the install.err instead of uploading the file ? 

Or maybe you can copy the content of the install.err and paste it in this post as plain text.

Hi skarlghd27,

Thank you for the info. 

During the installation, those scripts get uncompressed to certain directory, then they would be run by the installer. Somehow the installer can't find these scripts. So, either you don't have permission to access that directory or those scripts don't get uncompressed correctly.

Do you have any compress/uncompress tools installed on the machine, if so what version ?

Make sure you run the installer with 'run as administrator'

Could you also post the screenshot of the output of the 'set' command (use this without quote in the CMD Prompt) ?

i use compress tool to 'Bandi zip' (this korea program). and intall run as administrator.

Hi skarlghd27,

Try un-compressing the package using the 'built-in' Windows 10 tool (right click on a compressed file, then 'Extract All').

Also, can you try uninstalling that 'Bandi zip' software ?

please open up CMD Prompt , then type

set

then enter.

Send me the screenshot of the output of this.

Hi skarlghd27,

Can you try changing everything to be in English: 

1. Default language on your system https://www.windowscentral.com/how-properly-change-system-default-language-windows-10

2. Username/User profile

Then reinstall the product again. Make sure to 'run as administrator' and that you remove C:Program FilesANSYS Student folder before attempting to reinstall.
