Subscriberall parts are important for me , I solve this problem to calculate the maximum tenstion and compression by added many forces , i would solve nonlinear .ncan you help me to find the problem ?nnMarch 26, 2021 at 7:17 pmahlamosama

SubscribernMy suggestion is to have a simpler model and get that running first, then add more parts, check that is running, and continue this process until all the parts are included.nIt seems to me that the most important feature is the spring in the middle, the cup around it at each end and the bottom and top plates. Get a model running with just those five parts.nAn even simpler model is to have just the spring and no contact. Hold one end of the wire fixed and put a remote displacement on the other end of the wire. That remote displacement should set all DOF to zero except for the axial displacement that will compress the spring. That is guaranteed to run and will give you the first result for the forces that this spring can develop. All the other parts will only modify that value slightly.nViewing 8 reply threads- You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
