SubscriberHello,
I'm trying to mesh a wind turbine balde, but when I do, a hole is created on the surface of the blade. I don't understand the problem since I tríed to mesh the same geometry before with the same parameters as now without any problems.
I tried to change the element size from 200 mm to 150 mm which seems to solve the problem, but at that point I'm way over the element number limit of the student version.
I also tried to change the thickness of the body as well as trying to add a mesh sizing to the problematic part but nothing seems to help.
I attached a couple of pictures to illustrate what is happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Vince

AdministratorDo you have an issue with this part in your geometry? Are there any errors in the geometry? In other words, there is no hole in the geometry, right?
Thanks.

SubscriberHello,
No, there is no porblem with my geometry.
However I seem to have found a working combination, where I put a face sizing on the problematic part, and it solved the issue without exceeding the element limit.
Thank you anyway,
Vince
