Homogenization vs Full Scale Simulation of Lattice Structure

  Hello,
  
  I've made a validation after Lattice optimization using both Homogenization and Full scale simulation. However, there is a significant difference in deformation between those two methods. I've read that homogenization is suitable for structures, where RVE is at least one magnitude below model dimensions.
  
  I would like to ask, if is it true and if yes, where is the border of accuracy?
