How can I implement a wall with normal velocity condition?

Hi all,n I'm trying to implement a boundary condition where a wall is moving at a constant speed in the direction normal to it (an example would be a syringe's piston pushing fluid). I understood from the fluent guide that this scenario cannot be implemented using the moving wall boundary condition because the direction of the motion is normal to the wall itself. It seems that using a sliding mesh is the way to achieve this condition. Is that correct? If so, could someone point me to a simple example or give me an advice on how I can set it up?.Thank you,nn Ibrahimn

You should be able to use moving and deforming meshes to obtain this. Please check out this video.nThank you.nBest,nKarthik n
