How can I import line bodies from solidworks?

      Hello,

I have to model a guyed tower in Ansys using beam and rope elements. I prefer to model the geometry in solidworks and then to import it in Ansys and analyse it. I have created an example of geometry in solidworks and then I tried to import it in ansys, but Ansys recognises the elements as solid bodies. Does anyone know how can I import the created geometry ad line bodies? Thank you.

      Thank you for reply,

I have exported the .iges and step file from solidworks, but ANSYS recognises the elements as solid bodies. The structure is been modelled in solidworks using sketch lines and then convert the sketch as structural members. I think that this is the good way to model line bodies in solidworks. Are you agree?
