SubscriberHello, I am trying to model snoring related vibrations using the frequency dependent material for my arterial wall. I have a graph of pressure ratio versus frequency that represents the vibrations that I want to model on ansys. Any way I can do that using the material properties or do I need to use a different approach n -

Ansys Employee,nThere are several methods to curve fit response data of a vibration test ( pressure vs frequency in your case) and find out the damping ratios at each natural frequency for example https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/373890-rational-fraction-polynomial-for-modal-parameters-extraction. You could use these damping ratios and insert them as material properties (the way I told you in our previous discussion https://forum.ansys.com/discussion/comment/106529#Comment_106529) and perform a harmonic analysis.nRegards,nIshan.n -

SubscribernThank you for your answer. nany way I can do that for Prony series in transient analysis. If so can you explain the way to do so nThanksn
