I don't see Thermal Comfort extension for 18.1. I only see the one for 17.

Even then, I'm not sure if you can use that version with ANSYS Student version.

Maybe, you can try asking in Fluid Dynamics section to see if anyone has some thoughts about this. It's best to describe what you want to model as well because there might be another way to accomplish it.

      Thanks for your reply.

I am studying indoor thermal comfort in a naturally ventilated room.

According to the standard, using PMV/PPD is suitable for evaluating the thermal environment. In my study, I am also considering the local draught and vertical air temperature differences.

For these, I don’t know how to calculate PMV/PPD in fluent. I have seen the uses of UDF files for that. Since I can’t write the code and don’t know where to use this UDF in the boundary conditions, I am looking for extensions.

Please help me. I badly need your suggestion.

      Thanks in advance

The UDF needs reading in and then setting up. Assuming you got it from us there should be a document with some instructions and/or comments in the code.
