How do i add a negative heat flux to convection?

So, this is a help for a homework question(MOOC) i am required to solve on. We have a rectangular plate with different heat conditions. One such is convection which occurs in the right edge of the 2D plate. In the demo, we were explicitly told to make the heat convection negative (-0.5). The demo was in Ansys 18 and there was no issue when the instructor ran the simulation. I'm using a student version of ansys 21, when i add the thermal conduction in -ve, the whole simulation blows up and is failing. How do i get around this?

I have taken this course. In the Lecture, the Professor used a Convection boundary condition, but the Homework problem is different.
At the right boundary,qx denotes the heat flux in the x-direction.Note that this isdifferent from a convection boundary condition.
Delete the Convection boundary condition and insert a Heat Flux boundary condition.
