SubscriberHello,
I would like to find the values for average skewness and average orthogonal quality. How can I find these values?
Thank you

Ansys EmployeeIf you look at the mesh quality I think it's listed there. Average isn't overly useful though: you're wanting "good" cells and not to have any that are too distorted. You're also looking for mesh resolution, so even using the metrics won't tell you everything.

SubscriberHi rwoolhou,
Could you explain what mesh resolution means? I have a general understanding of the importance of the quality, especially the skewness and the orthogonal quality, but when you talk about the resolution I am unsure what you mean.

Ansys EmployeeMesh resolution is how much mesh you have in a region: it's linked to cell size. However, what you're trying to do is add enough mesh to resolve (model, pick up, see) the flow gradients.
