SubscriberI am trying to model a spherical bridge bearing using spherical joints and a frictional contact. However, I couldn't get a solution as it never converges.
Does anyone know how to model a spherical bridge bearing? Does anyone have experience/tutorial/examples of spherical joints?

Ansys EmployeeHi Sam,
I have attached some tutorial links for the spherical joint that might be helpful to you.

You can also follow the Ansys help document for a detailed explanation of the spherical joint.
Joint Types (ansys.com)
The following forum thread is somehow related to the spherical joint, which is why it's attached here.

If these attached documents don't help you, then you can also explain the problem in detail.
