SubscriberHello, I am modeling the effect of snoring related vibrations on carotid atherosclerosis promoters and need to account for the frequency dependent material properties for the viscoelastic arterial wall. Any idea how to integrate the frequency dependent properties on ANSYSn -

Ansys EmployeenYou can define the material elastic and damping properties as being frequency-dependent (using TB,ELASTIC and TB,SDAMP) for a harmonic analysis based on a Variational technology method. Please check the help documentation 15.4. Harmonic Analysis (ansys.com) (subsection 15.4.6) specifically the command HROPT (ansys.com).nLet me know if it helps.nnRegards,nIshan.nhttps://forum.ansys.com/discussion/3978/how-to-access-the-ansys-online-helpn -

SubscribernThank you for the information. I need to couple the harmonic to fluent, however I couldn't find anything about this online. Any way I can do that? Can it be done with external data transfer? The goal of my project is to model the snoring vibrations in harmonic as well as the frequency dependent material of the viscoelastic arterial wall and then run the simulation of fluid where I would model the pulsatile blood flow and get outputs such as wall shear stress in fluent. n
