SubscriberI'm trying to do an aerodynamics simulation, but I don't see the option here to set the viscosity model to DES SST k-omega. How do I do set that?

Ansys EmployeeEwen Discovery Live does not allow you change these types of details in the simulation. Please reference this post to learn more about the technology inside Discovery Live.
If you would like to have control over the viscosity model and other more advanced settings try running the model in Discovery AIM. In the Physics task under Physics Options you will be able to change the turbulence model being used.

Thank you. I might have to try that then.

Does Discovery AIM use the GPU for the computations/analysis like Discovery Live does, or does it use the "conventional" CPU cores instead?
Thanks.

SubscriberEwen Discovery AIM uses the CPU for the analysis computation. The GPU is used for realistic material colour rendering and for display of results.

Boost Ansys Fluent Simulations with AWS
Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) helps engineers design products in which the flow of fluid components is a significant challenge. These different use cases often require large complex models to solve on a traditional workstation.
