SubscriberHi Everyone,I installed a free student version of ANSYS on my Mac after performing the Bootcamp procedure and installing windows 10.nAfter installation of ANSYS, when I tried to run the software, it is asking for Elastic Server IDnDoes anyone have any idea about how to get that ID or did anyone else have solved this problem?nKind Regardsn -

Ansys EmployeePlease share a screenshot. You do not have any need for an elastic server id with the Student package. Please also try removing the environment variable ANSYSLI_ELASTIC=1 if it is set.n -

Subscriber@mmadore, Please see the attached jpeg file for ElasticServer ID error. After I installed the software, I couldn't see the WORKBENCH app. The only app I could work on was LIC. I couldn't get past this step so couldn't remove the environment variable. The software that I downloaded was Ansys Discovery Student fromnArrayLooking forward to your response. Have been stuck here for a few days.nArrayn -

Ansys EmployeeYou do not need to do anything in the Client Licensing Settings as the STUDENT applications do not require it. The applications have the licensing built in. You have installed Ansys Discovery Student, which does not include Workbench. Please try installing ANSYS Student.n -
