How does the DPM body force in UDF determine the direction of the force?

      Hello,

How does the DPM body force in UDF determine the direction of the force? My particles are subjected to forces perpendicular to the two walls, which are only related to the distance between the particles and the walls. The expressions for these two forces only depend on distance, right?

      Thanks.

It'll depend on what you coded up. Typically you'll have +/- forces in x, y and z directions based on "something". With two surfaces providing a force you'll see two force calculations plus whatever the fluid is doing to the particles.
