How many elements should be set to be in contact?

Hello, I have a question on the contact definition, I hope to win your guidance and support.

When defining the contact pairs in ANSYS workbench, do we have to guarantee there is only one element in contact, or we do not have to care how many elements involved in a contact? Like the following solver output, it reminds me there are 1047 elements in contact. Do I have to reduce the Pinball to reduce the number of elements in this contact pair?
