with this message I would like to ask a question related to making a dynamic mesh simulation using the aforementioned features: Define_Cg_Motion UDF macro and an overset mesh.
The goal is as follows. The fluid flow has to move the object in the flow direction as depicted in the following figures.

Ansys EmployeeHello That happens because of incorrect dynamic zone selected. Primarily, the whole moving component cell zone (not just the wall or overset boundary) must be added as rigid body motion. For CG motion (not 6DOF) you do not need necessarily to add the wall and overset boundary as rigid body, but you can leave them in the list.
