SubscriberHello
I am modeling a cable as beam element what is an alternative of applying tension instead of bolt-pretension? Since after static structural step I am considering the modal and harmonic response leading to some errors in natural frequency.
For example, applying bolt pretension leads to a good result for stress, but in terms of natural frequency first value is 0 in harmonic response.
I appreciate any type of help

SubscriberUse the INISTATE command to tension a cable without using a Bolt Pretension load.
