How to calculate photoelectric conversion efficiency by simulating solar cells with lumerical device

SubscriberHi everyone,I want to use lumerical device to calculate the photoelectric conversion efficiency of solar cells. At present, the I-V curve has been calculated by using the charge function, but how can I calculate its photoelectric conversion efficiency?

Ansys Employee你需要先有 photoelectric conversion efficiency的定义。如果是计算吸收的光子功率转换为电子的效率,这是量子转换效率,目前不能计算,因为在计算吸收光子功率转换为载流子时,我们假定一个光子产生一对载流子。 如果是入射光功率转换为吸收功率,分析组里已经给出了。 因此,请斟酌到底是要那种photoelectric conversion efficiency,数学定义式是什么,物理含义是什么。没有数学公式,很多情况下里面的概念不清楚,混淆的。February 22, 2022 at 9:55 pmGuilin Sun

Subscriber我是用FDTD中的solar generation计算光吸收的,然后在用device中的charge计算I-V曲线,这种应该就是计算的光电转换效率吧
