SubscriberHi I want to calculate the range of motion of the lumbar model in all 6 directions (Flexion, Extension, Lateral Bending Right and left, Torsion Right and Left) so that I can verify how many degrees my model rotates in one direction. My model contains cortical and cancellous parts of L3 and L4, two facet joints on each vertebra, spring as a ligament, one annulus fibrosis, one nucleus pulpous, and a plate on top of L3 (to apply pressure). My model is working properly in all directions but I don't know how to calculate the ROM. If you can help me I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance

SubscriberTry adding a Remote Point, behavior=Deformable, to a face on L3. You may be able to use a Flexible Rotation Probe using that Remote Point to obtain the angular change in orientation of L3 relative to its starting orientation.
One may add a general joint and then probe a joint rotation as well.
