How to change polarization of import source in FDTD

      Hi,

I would like to know if there is a way to change the polarization of the import source in FDTD. I am using a mode calculated in FDE as a source for an FDTD simulation. I want to rotate the polarization of this imported source. Apparantly, there is no option to rotate the polarization of the imported source. I was wondering if there is a way to do it? Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

      Regards

It is not possible to change the polarization for import source as it has fixed field data.

You do not need to use FDE and do the import. Instead, you can add port or mode source, and choose "user select" to get the mode you want. Both port and mode source use the same FDE solver.
