How to Consider the Maximum and minimum values for Remeshing in the Dynamic mesh?

Try adjusting the time step. Negative cell volume probably appears because the moving wall crosses the cell. nFor the maximum and minimum length scale, I have no rule but what I do is keep the minimum at its default 0 and make the maximum slightly higher than the maximum length scale in this zone.n

Do you mean the time step in fluent?n

Hello,nYes, this is what is hinting at. nIt might also help to understand where the negative cells appear on your computational mesh. Please use the registers to understand this. To do this: Cell Registers -> Field VariablenHit Display and you will understand where the mesh fails.nThank you,nKarthikn

remeshing isn't available on hex meshes, only tet meshes and prisms on 2.5D meshes. Please have a look at the Reed Valve Tutorial for System Coupling for how to set up a case with remeshing and smoothing. https://ansyshelp.ansys.com/account/secured?returnurl=/Views/Secured/corp/v211/en/sysc_tut/sysc_tut_reedvalve_fluent.htmln

USE Layering option. Remesh will not work on hex meshn

Layering is only recommended for piston or cylinder application and shouldn't be used here.n
