Hi,nThis could be due to several reasons - poor mesh quality, incorrect model set, and boundary conditions.nIf you need help with debugging this, please share some details about the mesh quality and model set-up. Please embed screenshots directly into your comments (rather than attaching them).nAlso, does this happen right after you hit 'run calculation'? Or is this in the middle of your simulation?nThanks.nKarthikn

It happens right after I hit 'run calculations'. Attach is a url for another Ansys discussion where I posted the details about this model. the only thing I did differently this time was that I made the glass, steps and walls a single body such that a contact region wasn't created by the program. n

Check the mesh quality. Multiple blocks with non conformal does make the meshing easier, but isn't worth all the hassles most of the time. If you didn't revise the size settings the new mesh may not be as good. n
